As much as I love conventions, there aren’t many of them in my neck of the woods. Our biggest convention, VCon, had to close its doors around the time Covid hit.
But the past few years, the West Coast Speculative Fiction Association has been hosting a one day mini-con at BCIT, with an eye on eventually reviving the 3-day VCon event in the future.
Last year’s event was fun, and I went to a few panels to listen to a variety of interesting subjects. This year, I’m going to be a vendor as well. So if you’re in the Vancouver area on November 15th, come check it out!
